Lonesome..
(by Kashif Murrad. 14 years old. From PAF Chapter, Defence, Karachi, Pakistan)

My mother left me when I was very young
I feel so lonely that i could cry,
my tears are full of weeps and sighs,
i can't understand why this is true,
but i live my life until its through...

The internet
(by Sehrish. 15 years old. From PAF Chapter, Defence, Karachi, Pakistan)

The Internet has a different world in it
We know it has
I just can't wait to go in there
Also it's lot's of fun

There are a lot of things to go on there
The locations like games and chatrooms
Only if I like to go on there
I can go there and have lots of fun on it

I'm almost finished on the Internet
I went to sign off on the Internet
I told my mom you can go on now
She's done on there
We'd had lot's of fun on it
Remember it's fun to go on there
There's places to go and that's so.

My little parrot
(by Muzammil. 7 years old. From Capital campus, Islamabad, Pakistan)

I like my parrot
he can fly high so high
Like a little fly
As a kite in the sky.

Kiss
(by Zohaib. 13 years old. From Gulberg campus, Lahore, Pakistan)

A peach is a peach, A plum is a plum,
A kiss isn't a kiss without some tongue,
So open up your mouth, close your eyes,
And give your tongue some exercise!!!

My world
(by Hina. 18 years old. Darakhshan Campus, Defence, Karachi, Pakistan)

Deep inside the depths of my mind,
Romantic emotions dwell
If you could see, then you would find,
My dreams clear as a bell
A sense of reality is left behind,
When I'm inside my shell
So please be gentle, true, and kind,
And pray that all goes well
Deep inside depths of my mind
Where these romantic notions dwell.

You are never alone
(by Kainaat. 20 years old. PAF Chapter, Defence, Karachi, Pakistan)

You're never alone, I'll always be near your heart,
When your troubled, down or blue.
All you have to do is think of me,
I'm always there for you.

It doesn't matter where I'm at,
It doesn't matter when.
When you need someone to talk to,
I'm here to be your friend.

If you need someone to hold your hand,
or a hug to say I care.
If you need a shoulder to cry on,
for you I will be there.

So never think you are a burden,
when the weight gets to be to much.
You might find if look hard enough,
a good friend could be the right touch.

You're never alone, I'm always there for you.

Thanks mother
(by Asif. 14 years old. Gulberg Campus, Lahore, Pakistan)

You're my blessing because you're always there,
If there's sadness around or in the air,
At night, in the morning or anytime of day,
You're there to cheer me up and chase the sadness away.

Thanks for all the good times that we share,
It shows that you're one who really does care.

Thanks for being there when time got rough,
You make it easier when times get too tough
Thanks for being there each and every day,
Thanks for being you in that very special way.

I can not...
(by Rose. 16 years old. Darakhshan Campus, Defence, Karachi, Pakistan)

I cannot escape such a tight grip
I cannot go back, back to the start
I cannot turn the color of my heart
I cannot hold back the hate in my voice
I cannot always choose the right choice
I cannot do it all on my own
please God, just don't leave me alone.
