PU VC takes strict notice of contractors negligence
Lahore, April 03, 2008: Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran has taken
strict actions against the contractors and university officials who shown
negligence in keeping the campus neat and clean. He ordered to fine the
concerned persons and called a meeting of contractors in this regard. He issued
these orders during his visit to the different areas of New Campus here on
Wednesday. Prof Dr Shoukat Ali, Project Director Sheikh Muhammad Ali, Controller
Prof Zahid Karim Khan, Resident Officer-I Bashir Ahmad, Resident Officer-II
Malik Zahir and other varsity officials were present on the occasion. The VC
said that the university administration is responsible to provide neat and clean
environment to the students at canteens and negligence administration or
contractors in this regard would not be tolerated. Taking notice of waste
constructional material, VC Dr Mujahid Kamran directed Project Director Sheikh
Muhammad Ali to take measurers to remove the waste material as soon as possible
and the payments of careless contractors be stopped until the disposal of
material. He also issued directives to repair the damaged walls of hostels. The
vice-chancellor also issued instructions to Resident Officer - II to plant more
trees alongwith boundary walls of hostels and barren area of the varsity.
PU declares Pharm-D result
Lahore: Punjab University Examination Department has declared the result of
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D), 1st Professional, Annual Examination 2007. 291
candidates appeared in the exam and 175 were declared successful. Detailed
