HSC Part I and II, annual examination 2010 schedule
HSC exams from 27th
Karachi, Apr 06: The Controller of Examinations, Board of Intermediate
Education, Karachi (BIEK), Professor Agha Akber Mirza has announced on
Monday that Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part I and II, annual
examination 2010 will take place from April 27. He added that
the papers of Science Groups (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical), Science
General Group, Home Economics Group, Medical Technology Examination,
Special Candidate Examination, Diploma in Physical Education
Examination, Improvement of Marks/Grades Examination and Additional
Subjects' Examination in the morning shifts. The examinations of
Humanities (Regular and Private) and Commerce (Regular and Private)
will commence in the second phase, from May 24, 2010 in morning and
afternoon shifts respectively. Meanwhile, he asked all the
remaining private candidates of Commerce and Humanities groups, who
have failed to submit their examination forms due to any reason, should
submit their examination forms with late fee of Rs2,000 at the Account
Section, BIEK. However, the examination forms can be submitted after
necessary verification and endorsement from the concerned sections from
May 3 to 5, 2010, he added. Mirza also said that examination
forms of private candidates of Commerce and Humanities groups, who
either in HSC Supplementary Examintions, 2009, or desirous to appear in
HSC (intermediate) Part II or Part I and II (combined) annual
examination 2010 can submit their examination forms without late fee
from April 5 to 19, 2010. However, after the due date late fee
of Rs300 would be charge from April 20 to 26 while the students would
submit Rs1000 as late fee from April 27 to 30, 2010, he also said. All
eligible private candidates of Commerce and Humanities groups are
advised to submit their examination forms and fee duly filled at United
Bank Limited, BIEK Branch, after fulfilling all necessary requirements,
Mirza further said.
Exam centre heads asked to stop 'cheating culture'
Karachi: Chairman Board of Secondary Education Karachi Anzar Zaidi called an emergency
meeting on Monday at the conference hall of Board of Secondary
Education Karachi (BSEK) and instructed all examination centre
superintendents that they should take all-out efforts to stop use of
unfair means in exams.He asked them to fully cooperate with vigilance
teams to eliminate copy culture and submit recovered cheating material
to the education board. He asked them to inform the BSEK reporting cell
and neatest police station if they face any security problems during
the examination process.

KU announces MA form submission date
Karachi: Registrar, KU, has announced that the date for
submission of Registration forms of M.A. / Double M.A and Improvement
of Division 2008 will be accepted from April 6 to April 14, 2010.
Change of subject is allowed with prescribed fee of Rs.500/- till 14th
April. Forms will be available at the N.B.P/U.B.L Counter Silver
Jubilee Gate no. 1.
