Dow University seeks ISO certification
KARACHI, April 19(Dawn): The Vice Chancellor of the Dow University of Health
Sciences held a meeting with his counterpart from Mehran University of
Engineering and Technology in connection with the ISO certification.
The
Mehran University has obtained 1SO certification twice since 2003, said a
statement issued by the DUHS on Wednesday.
Prof Aslam Uqaili, Registrar
of MUET, gave a presentation on the whole process of ISO system and its
advantages.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Qadeer Rajput said that the efficiency of
the administration and teaching departments had increased since the university
had been certified.
He appreciated the efforts of his team and pledged
its full support to the DUHS regarding the required steps for ISO
certification.
