Rawalpindi Board announced HSSC exam results
RBISE announces HSSC exam results: Kallar Kahar school bags top two positions
Rawalpindi, Aug 16, 2008: Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE)
announced results of annual Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)
examination 2008 in a ceremony on Friday at Divisional Public
School.
Students of Kallar Kahar Science Higher Secondary School for Boys
(KKSHSSB), Kallar Kahar (Chakwal), outshined the girls by obtaining top two
positions, while a student of Cadet College Hassanabdal obtained the third
position.
According to the results, Saqib Ali of KKSHSSB, Kallar Kahar
(Chakwal), bagged over all first position by obtaining 988 marks out of 1100.
Muhammad Bilal Majeed of the same school secured second position by obtaining
987 marks and Ahmed Bilal Asghar of Cadet College Hassanabdal got third position
by obtaining 983 marks.
In Pre-Medical (boys), Muhammad Bilal Majeed
(Roll No 707120), Asad Pervez (Roll No 702697) and Jibran Khalid (Roll No
702719) got the first three positions by securing 987, 956 and 955 marks
respectively. In Pre-Medical (girls), Saira Mushtaq (Roll No 714548), Mehwish
Abbas (Roll No 703782) jointly secure first position by obtaining 942 marks each
while Kokab Sultana (Roll No 703773) secured second position with 917 marks and
Anza Ali (Roll No 717064) secured the third position with 911marks.
In
Pre-Engineering (boys), Saqib Ali (Roll No 707287), Ahmed Bilal Asghar (Roll No
702784) and Saad Bin Shafqat (Roll No 709803) clinched the top three positions
with 988, 983 and 980 marks respectively. In Pre-Engineering (girls), Sidrah
Javed (Roll No 717077), Qurratul Ain (Roll No 717087) and Saira (Roll No 703731)
got the first three positions by scoring 963, 928 and 918 marks respectively.
In Humanities (boys), Arshad Khan (Roll No 739534) stood first with 899
marks while Fahim Ahmed (Roll No 739750) and Muhammad Luqman (Roll No 720329)
stood second and third by securing 858 and 852 marks respectively. In the same
group among girls, Lubna Yasmeen (Roll No 731640) stood first with 908 marks
while Humera Batool (Roll No 728466) and Maryam Siddiqa (Roll No 717041)
remained second with 885 marks each and Nasiha Bibi (Roll No 710904) secured
third position with 884 marks.
In Science General (boys), Muhammad Umair
Hassan (Roll No 719823), Basharat Hussain (Roll No 709866) and Mohsin Surkhab
(Roll No 719817) got the first three positions by obtaining 880, 872 and 860
marks respectively. In Science General (girls), Sumera Knwal (Roll No 708674),
Sadia Waheed (Roll No 714603) and Quratul Ain (Roll No 704953) secured first
three positions by obtaining 862, 860 and 850 marks respectively.
In
Commerce (boys and girls), Arslan Sarfraz (Roll No 724067), Zahid Kamran (Roll
No 719951) and Bilal Ali (Roll No 719959) secured first three positions by
obtaining 939, 922 and 916 marks respectively.
According to the
statistics, the overall result remained 50.94 percent, as 21,756 students out of
42,730 appeared in the HSSC examinations were declared successful. Daily Times

Mean while dawood institute of engineering and technology also gave its policy for undergrduate admission test and the forms will be available after 15,sept.."
