Rawalpindi, Aug 20, 2008: Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) will announce the result of Secondary School Certificate (Part-I) Examination on August 25. Scholarships for Fata children
Peshawar: The Fata Secretariat has announced 140 scholarships for the children of those tribal leaders and government employees who were killed in operations against militants in the region.

According to an official statement, issued here on Tuesday, the scholarships would be awarded under the Fata Development Programme (South) to provide free education to the sons of the deceased.

The students found eligible under the scheme would be provided free boarding and lodging facilities till the completion of their studies in their respective disciplines. Dawn

Job fair at NUST
Islamabad: NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (formerly NIIT) organised its second Open House Job Fair on Tuesday.

NUST Rector Lt Gen Muhammad Asghar inaugurated the event. Graduating students of BIT, BICSE and BE (EE) programmes displayed their projects during the fair, aimed at providing the students with an opportunity to share their work and experience with industrialists. Daily Times
