MBBS first professional part-A results
Karachi, Aug 29: The University of Karachi on Friday announced the results of
MBBS first professional part-A supplementary exams 2009. According to
statistics, a total of 125 candidates took the exams while 81 of them were
declared successful. The pass percentage was 64.8 per cent. A university
announcement said that marks certificates were being issued and candidates had
been advised to collect the same from their respective colleges. The
University of Karachi also declared the MBBS first professional part-B
supplementary exams 2009 results. According to statistics, a total of 64
candidates appeared in the exams and 35 of them were declared successful.
The pass percentage was 54.69 per cent. The mark-sheets were
being issued and candidates had been advised to collect the same from their
respective colleges, the statement said.
BDS suppl exam results out
Karachi: The University of Karachi notified the Bachelor of Dental
Surgery (BDS) first professional supplementary exams 2009 results on Friday.
As many as 87 candidates appeared in the exams and of these 59 were
declared to have passed. The pass percentage was 67.82 per cent.
A university handout said that marks certificates were being issued
while candidates had been asked to collect the same from their respective
colleges.

BIEK registration schedule of private candidates
Karachi: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Friday announced the schedule for registration of
private candidates of humanities and commerce groups, including improvement of
division, additional subjects as well as those regular students of science,
commerce and humanities who exhausted all exams chances for appearing in HSC
annual exams 2010. The following is the schedule: Sept 7 to Nov 10, 2009
with normal fee; Nov 11 to Dec 14, 2009 with late fee of Rs100; Dec 15, 2009 to
Jan 18, 2010 with late fee of Rs200 and Jan 19, 2010 till further orders with
late fee of Rs300.

Class IX mark-sheets for general group (regular)
Karachi: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi on Friday notified that mark-sheets of SSC part-I class IX
general group (regular) annual exams 2009 would be ready for collection by Sept
5. All heads of recognised secondary schools have been asked to send
their representatives with authority letters to collect the mark-sheets from
room number 7, first-floor, Block-A of the board room between 9.30am and 12.30pm
on all working days. The mark-sheets of class IX general group (private)
students have already been despatched to the candidates at their given
