BSEK sets up counters to rectify errors
Karachi, Aug 3: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has opened four
counters to rectify the errors pertaining to those students who were shown
absent in the result for SSC Annual Examination 2007 for Class X Science
Group.
This was announced by the Controller of Examination, BSEK, on
Thursday. He said two of the counters are for female candidates and two for the
male.
It may be pointed out that in this recent result a number of
candidates were shown absent despite the fact that they appeared in all the
papers. This annoyed the candidates and their parents who mobbed the BSEK
premises.
The BSEK statement said on Thursday that some unconcerned
elements entered the Board office and created law and order situation.
It
maintained that they were asking irrelevant questions from the officials of the
Board. The statement hoped that the cases of "absence" would be resolved in a
couple of days' time. The news
