HEC accredits business education
LAHORE, Aug 19: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has established
Business Education Accreditation Council (BEAC), which will have six members and
will work for four years. The educationists and the business community praised
the setting up of the BEAC and said that it would improve the standard of
business administration education in the country.

University (PU) said on Saturday, the members of the council are International
Islamic University's dean of faculty of Management Sciences Prof Dr Amanullah,
PU's director of Institute of Business Administration Prof Dr Muhammad Ehsan
Mali, University of Sindh's dean of faculty of Commerce and Business
Administration Prof Dr Anwar Ali Shah G Syed, Balochistan University of
Information Technology and Management Sciences's chairman of faculty of
Management Sciences Prof Barkat Ali, Gomal University's chairman of Department
of Business Administration Dr Rashid Rehman and University of Azad Jammu and
Kashmir's dean of faculty of Administration Sciences Prof Dr Mushtaq A Sajid. Daily times
