SU seeks financial aid for research
HYDERABAD, Aug 8: Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui on Tuesday
called upon the industrialists to come forward and provide assistance to
university scholars in conducting research for rapid development of industrial
sector of the country.
He said this while delivering his speech at a
seminar "A case study of Matiari Sugar Mills" at Sindh Development Study Centre
(SDSC) on Tuesday.
Pro-VC Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, guide of researcher Dr
Parvez Pathan, co-guide Dr Abida Tahrani, research scholars, heads, faculty
members and students of various institutes departments attended the seminar. The
VC said research plays important role in development of concerned areas to
facilitate the common man and added that without research no goal can be
achieved. He said people from the industrial sector should come forward and help
