KEMU VC reemployed for three years
LAHORE, Aug 9: Dr Mumtaz Hassan, professor of
Medicine at King Edward Medical University (KEMU) has been reemployed on
contract basis for another three years with effect from September 16, 2007, said
an official handout on Wednesday.
The contractual period of Maj (r)
Khawaja Najam Javed was also extended for two years with effect from August 1,
2007 to July 31, 2009 as the additional director of Special Intelligence Unit
(SIU) of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Lahore.

Waheed Malik, deputy secretary of the Home Department, has been transferred and
his services have been placed at the disposal of the district coordination
