Karachi, Aug 17: FUUAST: Renowned poet and columnist Jamiluddin Aali has termed
Baba-e-Urdu Maulvi Abdul Haq's works as great assets for the Urdu Language. He
hopes that the nation will not forget this giant of Urdu language and
literature.
Aali Saheb was speaking to a large assembly of people
gathered at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST)
on Thursday to commemorate Haq's death anniversary.
KU: The Vice
Chancellor, University of Karachi, (KU) Prof. Pirzada Qasim condoled the death
of Khalid Alig and said that his death has closed a chapter not on his poetic
prowess but on a person who had integrity of character and one who was honest to
a fault -- the greatest moral values.
The university will accept forms
and fee of Diploma in Laryngitis and Otitis (DLO) till August 22. A late fee of
Rs1000 will be charged till August 31.

Alvi has said that the enrolments forms for BS Physiotherapy 2006-07 can be
submitted with original fee of Rs650 by August 18. Late fee of Rs1000 will be
