KU examinations' schedules
KARACHI, Aug 23: The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the
schedule of Postgraduate Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD)
annual exams 2007.
The paper of TB diagnosis and treatment will be held
on Aug 27, chest diseases other than tuberculosis on Aug 29, pathology and
bacteriology on Sept 1 and tuberculosis epidemiology and control on Sept 3.
These papers will be conducted at KU chemistry department from 2pm to
5pm.
The practical and viva examinations of TB epidemiology and control,
Oral Group-A and Oral Group-B, will be held at the Department of Chest Medicine,
Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, from 9am to 10am on Sept 7 and 8
respectively.
The chest and TB practical exam of Oral Group-I, Oral
Group-II and Oral Group-III will be conducted at the Department of Chest
Medicine, JPMC, on Sept 10, 11 and 12 respectively.
The pathology
practical of Oral Group-I and II will be held at the pathology department of SMC
on Sept 10 and 11 from 9am respectively.
Exam forms
The University
of Karachi extended the date for submission of exam forms of BA, BCom, BOL and
BSc (Improvement of Division) external annual exams 2007 till Sept 10 without
late fee.
The prescribed fee for BA and BCom (Part-I and II) exam and BSc
Improvement of Division is Rs1,500 while for both parts of BA, BCom and BSc
Improvement of Division is Rs2,800. In addition to the normal fee the
candidates, who were registered before 2002, will have to pay Rs800 to appear in
the annual exams 2007.
Enrolment
The enrolment section of Karachi
University has extended the date for submission of enrolment forms for BA, BSc
and BCom exams. Now the original enrolment fee Rs550 can be deposited with a
late fee of Rs2,000 till the annual examinations.
Registered
graduates
The university, meanwhile, announced that the candidates
seeking the status of KU registered graduates could get applications forms for
Rs25 each, available at the Golden Jubilee Gate branch of the National Bank of
Pakistan. The applications could be submitted till Aug 27. Agencies
