PU offers free education, boarding to toppers
LAHORE, Aug 23: Punjab University (PU) authorities have announced free
education and accommodation for all six BA/BSc position holders. Madiha Manzoor,
who scored the highest in the BA and BSc categories, said that she
was happy at the PU's decision and that she would take the university up on the
offer.
Asima Tabassum said she appreciated the decision and was happy to see the
university was supporting good students. Rabeel Shoukat said he would try to get
admission in PU's LLB Department and would definitely avail the opportunity.
Nosheen Goshi said she thought the free education and room and board was a great
opportunity and a blessing. She said all good universities should offer position
holders such facilities because it might give students the impetus they need to
excel. Muhammad Ahmad said he wanted to work in the telecommunications field.
However, he said he was worried that the PU did not have a telecommunications
