Private schools asked to register in 30 days
ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: The Private Educational Institutions Regulatory
Authority on Sunday announced a 30-day relaxation to private educational
institutions to get themselves registered with the authority.
Earlier,
the last day of registration was August 13 but the decision of relaxation was
taken after the authority noticed that some institutions, particularly in the
rural areas and those closed due to summer vacations, could not access the
latest instructions advertised via newspapers and thus required more time for
registration. Keeping in view the difficulties faced by such private educational
institutions, a final extension of 30 days has been allowed for registration
along with a fine of Rs 500 per day. Now the last day of registration is
September 12. app
