160 students pass key test
Aug 6: Students at the Pakistan Urdu School, Isa Town, achieved a 100 per cent pass
rate in the pre-engineering stream examinations, conducted by the Federal Board
of Intermediate and Secondary Education, in Islamabad, Pakistan.
They achieved a 90.75pc pass rate in the pre-medical stream, 95.8pc in the
science stream and 97.65pc in the commerce stream.
A total of 160 pupils from class 12 appeared for the exams from the school,
including 31 in the pre-medical stream, 21 in the pre-engineering stream, 13 in
the science stream and 95 in the commerce stream.
The top-scoring boy from the pre-medical stream was Osama Gulzar Ahmed, who
scored 895 marks, followed by Ilyas Muhammad Younus with 768 and Aamir Sayab
with 675.
The top-scoring girl in the pre-medical stream was Maha Shahbaz, who scored
marks, followed by Wahj Sarfraz with 893 and Sadaf Basheer with 866.
Muhammad Araash Tariq topped the list of boys in the pre-engineering stream
with 891, while second place went to Muhammad Adeel with 890, followed by Umar
Farooq with 839.
The top-scoring girl in the pre-engineering stream was Faiza Jawed with 766
marks, followed by Hana Jawaid with 760 and Sana Jahangir with 745.
In the science stream, among boys, Mirza Kamran Baig came first with a total
of 882 marks, followed by Saad Muhammad Afzal with 796 and Hamad Muhammad Tariq
with 795.
In the same stream, Aisha Riaz Ahmed came first among girls with 731
marks.
The top-scoring boy in the commerce stream was Bilal Muhammad Zafar with 788
marks. Second place went to Ommer Wahab with 782, followed by Fahad Iqbal Malik
with 764.
The top-scoring girl in the same stream went to Sumana Zehra Bawa with 852,
followed by Saba Safdar with 791 and Zainab Iftikhar with 758.
