FBISE announces HSSC supplementary exam results
ISLAMABAD, Dec 09, 2007 - Federal Board of
Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Saturday announced the
supplementary result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).
6,120
candidates appeared in the supplementary examination and out of these 3,351 got
through thus the success percentage is 54.78.
Total number of male
candidates who appeared in the examination was 3,785 and 1,997 are successful so
the percentage of successful male candidates is 52.80.
While 1,354 female
students out of 2,335 were declared successful and the percentage of successful
female candidates is 57.99.
2,392 candidates were enrolled in Humanities
group and 1,341 are successful here, leaving the percentage at 56.09. 877
candidates appeared in the Pre-Medical group, 483 succeeded thus the success
percentage is 55.07. Total candidates of Pre-Engineering group appeared in the
examination were 1,161 and out of these 612 are successful and the percentage of
successful candidates is 52.76.
1,035 students appeared in General Science
group and out of them 601 students are successful thus the percentage of success
in the group is 48.59. In Commerce group 311 succeeded out of 447 students were
and the percentage is 69.57. Only 5 students were appeared in the group of
Med/technology and 3 passed and percentage of success is 60.
The result is
available not only on the FBISE website but on SMS unified code 7771 also. The
