FBISE holds annual science exhibition
Islamabad, Dec 18, 2007: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE)
organised a science exhibition here on Monday to inculcate scientific research
among students. Students of the affiliated institutions, after winning the
competition at their respective directorate at HSSC level, came up with their
scientific contrivances and models in the exhibition.

Chairperson Standing Committee on Education and Science & Technology Razina
Alam Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. She appreciated the efforts of
students to come up with innovative ideas and skills and felicitated all the
participants for their participation, encouraging them to opt for a profession
of science and research.
At the end, she awarded certificates and cash
prizes of Rs10,000, Rs7,500 and Rs5,000 to the first, second and third position
holders respectively. FBISE organises a science exhibition every year to
appreciate and motivate young scientists in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and Computer Science. The News
