KU Admission forms, booklet for PGD exams
Karachi, Dec 03, 2007: The Department of Statistics, University of Karachi, has offered Post Graduate
Diploma (PGD) and it would also benefit those who are doing research work in any
department. According to a press release issued on Sunday, admission forms along
with booklet are available at the department and could be submitted till
December 15, 2007.
The merit list would be displayed on December 18,
2007 and fees would be submitted from December 24 and 31, 2007. The classes
would be arranged from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. The Controller of Examinations,
University of Karachi, has announced that external students of B.A (improvement
of divisions) could submit their examination forms for the year 2007 with late
fee of Rs500 only.
Candidates of B.A Part-I would pay the total amount of
Rs2000 only (Rs1,500+Rs500=Rs2,000), while students of B.A Part-II and
improvement of divisions are asked to submit Rs3,300 only
(Rs2,800+Rs500=Rs3,300) and students enrolled for B.A Part I and II (both parts)
and improvement of divisions would pay Rs3,300 only (Rs2,800+Rs500=Rs3,300).
Examination form would cost Rs25 only.
The candidates are advised to
collect the forms from the branches of National Bank of Pakistan or United Bank
of Pakistan, Silver Jubilee Gate, University of Karachi and after attestation
could be submitted at External Unit, situated at same place as
above.
These forms could be submitted between 09:30am to 1:00pm and on
Friday the timings would be restricted to 12:00noon. As per announcement, those
candidates who had registration 2001 or before would pay additional Rs800 for
their registrations.
Masters admission
Director Admissions, University of Karachi, announced on Sunday that candidates whose names have
appeared in the provisional list of masters' admissions 2008 can complete the
formalities for admission from Dec 3 to 5, 2007 at the camp office, Silver
Jubilee Gate, University of Karachi.He said that they were advised to bring
original receipt of the admission form along with the required documents and the
prescribed fee to complete the process. Adding he said all incomplete admissions
would be cancelled after Dec 5, 2007. The News
