PU MA result: HEC best University teacher
Lahore, Dec 18, 2007: The Punjab University
Examination Department has declared the result of the result of MA Philosophy,
Part-II, Annual Examination, 2007. Out of 29 candidates, who had appeared in the
exam, 19 were declared successful. Roll numbers of the successful candidates
are: 016834, 016835, 016836, 016837, 016842, 016843, 016844, 016848, 016850,
016851, 016852, 016853, 016854, 016855, 016856, 016857, 016858, 016860 and
016862. Meanwhile, the result of MA Economics, Part-I Annual Examination, 2007
was also declared by the PU Examination Department. As many as 8,068 candidates
had appeared in the exam while 645 of them were declared successful. Detailed

PU teacher selected as best university teacher
LAHORE: The Higher Education Commission has selected PU Department
of Mathematics Chairman Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui as the Best University Teacher
for the year 2007. According to a press release, Higher Education Commission
(HEC) Chairman Prof Dr Attaur Rehman will confer the award on Dr Shahid Siddiqui
in a ceremony to be held on Saturday December 29, 2007 in the auditorium of the
HEC, Islamabad. The award consists of certificate and cash prize of Rs
