Dates finalised for Class-IX, X examinations
KARACHI, Feb 27(The News): The Committee of Chairmen (CoC) of education boards in Sindh has
finalised the dates for Class-IX and X examinations in the province, on
Monday.
Brig (retd) Shafiullah Qureshi, Chairman Board of Secondary
Education, Karachi, presided over the meeting that decided that except Karachi,
all the Secondary Boards, including Hyderabad, Larkana, Mirpur Khas and Sukkur,
will bracket the Class-IX examinations with that of Class-X that will commence
from April 17.
The papers for classes IX and X will be held on the
alternate dates. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Karachi, being the
largest one, has been allowed to take Class-IX examinations from May 15. The
Class-IX candidates will be tested from the old course Book-1 and nothing new
will be added in the question papers.
