'CSS exams may be postponed'
LAHORE, Jan 04, 2008: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is
considering postponing the Central Superior Service (CSS) examinations for two
months owing to the country's current political scenario, a FPSC official said on Thursday.
January 1 was the due date for CSS candidates to
submit their admission forms but the FPSC has extended this to January 15.
Sources said it was difficult for the FPSC to conduct the examinations according
to schedule as the elections had also been postponed. FPSC Secretary Bashir
Chohan denied such rumors. He said, "It is premature to comment on the date of
