DUHS declares MBBS results
KARACHI, Jan 02, 2008: The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) on Tuesday
announced the results of third professional MBBS annual examinations of the Dow
Medical College and Sindh Medical College.
According to results, Ms Sobia
Mujtaba has secured the first position with 478 marks, Hafiz Abdul Moiz Fakir
second position with 466 marks and Ms Nita Raffia third position with 450 marks
out of the total 600 marks.
A total of 505 students appeared in the
examination out of whom 441 have been declared successful. The pass percentage
stood at 87.5. Dawn
ICAP postpones seminar
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Pakistan (ICAP) has postponed its seminar on 'Compensation Management 'scheduled
for January 1 (today) because of the prevailing situation. An announcement to
this effect was made by the spokesman of the institution. He further pointed out
