Alliance Francaise French language test for immigration
Karachi, Jan 31, 2008: The Alliance Francaise, Karachi, has instituted a French language test, "TCF for
Quebec" for those intending to emigrate to Quebec, Canada, according to a press
release of the Alliance Francaise.
The "TCF for Quebec" has been
specially designed to be consistent with the standards of the Ministry of
Immigration (MICC) of Quebec, and is only intended for people wishing to settle
in Quebec. The TCF for Quebec includes two examinations:
Your TCF for
Quebec certificate is only valid for your immigration application and not, for
admission to a French university.
The certificate will usually be
available approximately a month after the test.
The immigration
department will assess the applicant's level of competence in French on the
basis of the TCF for Quebec certificate, in order to decide whether or not it is
acceptable.
