LUMS to host young leaders summit
Lahore, Jan 26, 2008: LUMS Entrepreneurial Society (LES) is all set to host the six-day
long summit "Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Summit (YLES) 2008" starting from
31st January to 5th February at Lahore University of Management Sciences.
The summit is a youth driven venture aimed at creating awareness and
helping them realize their potential as the torchbearers of tomorrow.
The Head of Host Team 2008 Taha Ataullah said the aim of YLES 2008 is to
give the youth a taste of the world of decision-making and develop the business
acumen by engaging them in an interactive and competitive environment during the
day with conferences and seminars, and give them a chance to relax and socialize
in the evenings with various enjoyable social events.
About 800
delegates from all over Pakistan, including students of universities, colleges
and A-level schools, are expected to participate in this annual event while few
international delegates are also expected to participate.
Punjab University Pharmacy admission forms
The Punjab University Examination Department has issued the schedule of submission
of admission form for Doctor of Pharmacy, Second Professional Annual Examination
2007. Last date for submission of admission form with single fee is 31st January
while the admission form can be submitted with double fee till 4th February
2008. The exam will commence from 21st February 2008.

BNU exhibition
An exhibition
by students of SAARC countries, studying at the Beaconhouse National University
(BNU), will be held on 28 Jan. Opening ceremony of the exhibition will be
performed by BNU Vice Chancellor Sartaj Aziz at Alhamra Art Gallery.
Lecture on tolerance in Islam
Islamabad: International Islamic
University (IIU) will hold a lecture on 'Tolerance in Islam; A Historical
Perspective' here on February 1. Renowned Scholar and Author, Karen Armstrong
will deliver the lecture under the auspices of recently established Iqbal
International Institute of Research Education and Dialogue, says a statement
issued here Friday. The event would be held at Jinnah Convention Centre and all
