NUST offers courses
Islamabad, Jan 02, 2008: Technology Incubation Centre (TIC) of the National University
of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is taking effective steps to equip engineers
with new techniques in line with market requirements.
As part of such
efforts, spokesperson said Tuesday the university had established a CAD/CAM
centre to impart training courses to engineers and technicians, said a spokesman
of NUST.
In addition to industrial, manufacturing and reverse engineering
solutions, the spokesperson said the centre was also providing the economic
solution to the engineering sector.
He said the programmes were designed
for graduate, diploma engineers, technicians, product designers, jewellers and
sculptors.
The international certified training courses were being
offered in collaboration with Synthetic Products Enterprises Pvt, Limited (SPEL)
and DELCAM, he added.
He informed that SPEL was a leading company in
designing, development and manufacturing parts whereas DELCAM is the world's
leading supplier of advanced CAD/CAM solutions. The News
