MA Urdu result declared The Punjab University
Examination Department has declared the result of MA Urdu, Part-I, Annual
Examination 2007. As many as 6,974 candidates had appeared in the exam while
3,465 of them were declared successful. Detailed result is available at the
varsity website www.pu.edu.pk.
BA supplementary exams from Jan 14 Rawalpindi: Students who failed in BA
and BSc examination of the Punjab University can submit their forms till January
14 for supplementary examination. Students are advised to get forms from counter
of the section or download them from the university website. They can submit
their forms after filling them with blue ink along with the previous result
card.
Exams postponed The Punjab University Institute of Education and Research
(IER) has postponed the comprehensive exams of different disciplines which were
to start from Tuesday (today). The new date for the commencement of the exam is
January 5, 2008.
KEMU reschedules exams The Examinations
Department of King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Lahore, has announced
re-scheduled date sheet of MBBS examinations. According to the revised date
sheet issued here on Monday, MBBS first professional Part-II exams will be held
on January 3, Part-I on January 4, MBBS Final Professional will be held on
January 5, 2008. The Practicals and viva voce for MBBS third professional will
be held on January 5 and for MBBS Second Professional will be held on January
14, 2008.
LCWU to announce new date-sheets The Lahore
College for Women University (LCWU) will announce the new date sheets of the
varsity's FA/FSc and DPharm examinations on January 3. According to the LCWU
spokeswoman, the university would reopen on January 3, 2008, adding that the
date sheets of said exams, which were earlier scheduled to commence from
December 28, would be announced.
GCU condolence meeting for Benazir A condolence meeting on the tragic death of distinguished
parliamentarian and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto
would be held at Government College University (GCU) on 1 January 2008, said a
