PU BS exams, UHS result, NCA Degree Show

PU BS Ed exams
The Punjab University
has issued date sheet of BS Ed Skill in Teaching, Second Professional, 2nd
Annual Examination, 2006, and 1st Annual Examination, 2007. The exam will
commence from January 30, 2008 and conclude on February 1.
UHS announces BDS result
The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, announced the result of BDS
Third Professional (Revised Scheme) Annual Examination 2007 held in November
2007 on Thursday. The candidates appeared from de'Montmorency College of
Dentistry, Lahore, Nishtar Medical College, Multan, Lahore Medical and Dental
College, Lahore and Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine and Dentistry,
Lahore. A total of 177 candidates appeared out of which 140 were declared
successful in the examination with 79.10 pass percentage. As many as 37
candidates could not get through the examination. Omar Hussain Roll No. 109 from
de'Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, stood first in the examination by
securing 717/900 marks, Anam Iqbal Kidwai Roll No. 115 from FMH College of
Medicine and Dentistry, Lahore, got second position by obtaining 716/900 marks
while Syeda Mahvish Hussain Roll No. 131 from FMH College of Medicine and
Dentistry, Lahore, held third position by getting 713/900 marks in the
examination.
The roll numbers of candidates, who got distinction in Surgery, is
167. The roll numbers of candidates, who got distinction in Oral Pathology, are:
52, 55, 65, 72, 76, 89, 90, 93, 104, 106, 109, 115 and 131. The roll numbers of
candidates, who got distinction in Periodontology, are: 74, 78, 93, 109 and 115.
The roll numbers of candidates, who got distinction in Oral Medicine, are: 1,
16, 17, 25, 52, 55, 82, 89, 90, 93, 104, 106, 109, 114, 115, 131 and 142. The
candidates, who could not get through the examination, are required to submit
their admission forms on or before 07-02-2008 and with double fee on or before
14-02-2008. The Supplementary Examination 2007 will commence with effect from
22-02-2008.
NCA Annual Degree Show 2008 from 13th
The Annual Degree Show 2008 of the thesis students of NCA is being held from January
13 to 18, 2008 at the college. The display of students' work will open for the
public from 4 pm on 12th January and will continue daily from 11 am to 7 pm,
including Sunday till 18th January 2008. The thesis exhibition includes works
from the departments of Architecture, Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia Arts and
Musicology. The graduating students of Fine Arts, Architecture, Product Design,
Musicology and Multimedia Arts are displaying their works at the NCA campus
whereas works of Textile Design, Communication Design and Ceramics are on show
at the Tollington Market on The Mall. The degree show of NCA presents a great
opportunity to glimpse the works of young professionals and their fresh
approaches in different disciplines of art, design, architecture, Musicology and
Multimedia Arts. The News
