BSEK announces SSC supplement results
Karachi, Jan 01, 2008: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced the
results of the SSC supplementary examination 2007, science and general groups
(regular and private) 2007, on Monday.
According to the statistics of the
results of the science group, as many as 8,174 students, both male and female
appeared in the examinations, of which 37 passed with an A-1 grade, 21 with an
A, 142 with a B, 1,232 with C, 2,806 with D, and 368 with an E grade. Thus, the
overall pass percentage remained at 56.35 per cent.
In the general group,
a total of 3,512 candidates appeared, of them 7 passed with an A-1 grade, 61
with an A, 104 with a B, 281 with C, 1,159 with D, and 437 with an E grade,
making the overall percentage at 58.43 per cent.
NED: The orientation
day for newly admitted students at NED has been postponed till further orders.
The classes will commence after the day of orientation, stated a university
