22,000 teachers to be recruited after elections
Islamabad, Jan 21, 2008: Punjab Public Eliminatory Education Director Muhammad
Ashraf Gondal said on Saturday that up to 22,000 teachers from across the
province would be recruited after the upcoming elections. He said the executive
district officer of each district of the province had been asked to prepare a
list of vacant seats of teachers in educational institutes in his jurisdiction.
The lists will be sent to Punjab Public Eliminatory Directorate and then
recruitment would be made, he said, adding that for the first time 22,000
teachers would be recruited. Daily Times
