UHS announced BDS & PU results
Lahore, Jan 17, 2008: The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, on Wednesday,
announced the result of BDS Final Professional (Revised Scheme) Annual
Examination, 2007, held in December 2007/January 2008.
In the exam, the
candidates from de'Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, Nishtar Medical
College, Multan, Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore, Fatima Memorial
Hospital College of Medicine and Dentistry, Lahore, had appeared.
Total
158 candidates appeared in the exam and 93 were declared successful with 59.24
pass percentage. As many as 64 candidates could not get through the examination,
while roll number of one candidate was placed on the RL list. Muhammad Waheed
Tarhir, roll No. 106, stood first in the examination by securing 627/800 marks,
Hafiz Rabbi Ul Ehsan, roll No. 100, got second position by obtaining 616/800
marks, while Muhammad Waseem Ullah Khan, roll No. 107, grabbed third position by
getting 602/800 marks. The top three position holders belonged to de'Montmorency
College of Dentistry, Lahore.
The roll number of candidate, who got
distinction in Prosthodontics, is: 106. The roll numbers of candidates, who got
distinction in Orthodontics, are: 52, 55, 61, 68, 69, 95, 100 and 106. The roll
numbers of candidates, who got distinction in Oral Surgery, are: 68, 100 and
106.
The candidates, who could not get through the examination, are
required to submit their admission forms till February 9, 2008 and with double
fee till Feb 16. The supplementary examination, 2007, will start from Feb
25.
PU announces results
The Punjab University
has announced results of several examinations on Wednesday. These examinations
are M.A Education (Elementary) (Annual) Session, 2005-2007; M.A Education
(Secondary) (Annual) Session 2005-2007, Master of Business Education (Self
Supporting) (Annual) Session, 2005-2007, Master of Business Education (Annual)
Session, 2005-2007 and Master of Education (Secondary) (Annual) Session,

PhD degree
The Punjab University has awarded
a PhD degree to Fazal Hanan s/o Abdul Majeed in the subject of Arabic after
approval of his thesis "Theqeeq-W-Dirasa Naqdiya Lilmakhtoot
Divan-i-Kushajim". The News
