Special ISSB classes in Balochistan for Balochi youth

Special ISSB classes continue for induction of Balochis in armed forces
Quetta, Jan 31: In line to induct youth from Balochistan in the country's armed forces special Pre-Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) classes are being organised in the provincial capital Quetta.

The latest such programme for four weeks, started on Januray 12 this year, is successfully completing its stages whereby imparting skills and training to the Balochi youth drawn from all parts of the province especially those hailing from remote areas are participating.

In the last few years, special measures have been adopted for induction of Baloch youth in armed forces, which includes establishment of ISSB Centre and commencement of Pre-ISSB Training Classes at Quetta. These positive measures increased the induction of Baloch youth in Armed Forces.

IJT demands probe into agri varsity 'corruption'
Peshawar: The Islami Jamiat-e-Tulba (IJT) has demanded a probe into the alleged corruption in the recruitment of teachers and development projects of Agriculture University. It also accused the administration of Agriculture University, for use of force against the peaceful procession of the party. Muhammad Asad, general secretary of IJT in a release, alleged that several students were injured and became unconscious as result of the police lathi-charged on the peaceful students, who were registering their concern over the 100 percent hike in IBMs, IBGE and MSc's fees. The university administration, he alleged, was not interested to solve the problems and provide facilities faced by the students but on the other hands using violence to stop them for protesting for their demands. He also said that the administration was involved in corruption and have received bribe in the appointment of teachers and construction works, being done in the university. F.P report
