MA/MSc/MTh examinations admission forms
Peshawar, Jan 13: Controller of Examinations, University of Peshawar, has notified the following dates for the
submission of admission forms for MA/MSc/MTh annual examination 2009. A
notification of the university Monday said submission of the forms for
previous/final examination with normal fee is March 15, with Rs100 late fee
April 10, with double late fee April 25 and with triple late fee is May 10.

Presidential awards for world top position holders in GCE 'O' and 'A' level examinations
Islamabad: As many as 118 distinguished achievers of SSC-HSSC board
examinations and world top position holders in GCE 'O' and 'A' level
examinations were conferred with presidential awards in an auspicious ceremony
held here on Monday. Students, who secured first position in SSC, HSSC
and I Com examinations 2005 and world top position holders in 'O' and 'A' level
in the year 2007, attended the award distribution ceremony along with their
parents and teachers. Speaking on the occasion, State Minister for
Education Ghulam Fareed Kathia said these students are our country's assets and
should be facilitated properly to further polish their talents and skills.
"Their achievements are a proof of their hard work and dedication, as they have
brought laurels to their country at national and international level," he said.
He said the ceremony was a good effort in bringing together the two
entirely different systems of education at one platform. "Students and experts
of both the systems will have an opportunity to learn from each other in order
to fill in the lapses in their respective methods," he said. The
minister said that Pakistan is a signatory of 'Quality Education for All' under
the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and we have to work hard in order to
achieve these goals. "The civil society and private sector are contributing in
order to deliver quality education to the students but further efforts are
required at both levels in this regard," he said. The students who
secured first position in SSC examinations in 2005 included the names of Omama
