Japanese firm offers internship to KU graduates
KARACHI, 22 Jan (The News): Prof Pirzada Qasim, Vice Chancellor of the University of Karachi and
Hironao Takahashi inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the university and DTS Incorporation (Pakistan) to
provide internship to 10 fresh graduates of the Department of Computer
Science, for one year.
The MoU that was inked on Wednesday, will envisage
that DTS Inc will provide training to these internees in the area of Software
Development, Japanese Language and Fibre Channel System. The internees will be
paid a monthly remuneration of Rs 10,000, some of them might be chosen for
training at the company's headquarters in Japan.
The DTS Inc Pakistan is
a group company of DTS Inc Japan and has considerable expertise in Software
Development, Fibre Channel Storage Solution, Call Centre Solution and
Human Resources Management. It has its offices in the United States of America
and Pakistan.
