GCU appoints 38 lecturers
LAHORE, July 13: The selection board of the
syndicate of the Government College University (GCU) on Thursday recommended the
following candidates for recruitment against various positions in various
departments, said a handout.
Rizwan Omar Gondal, Irfan Waheed Usmani,
Hussain Ahmad Khan and Naila Pervaiz were recommended for appointment as
lecturers in History. The board recommended Waqas Ahmad Barlas, Abdul Aijaz,
Sadia Rafique and Muhammad Naseer Ahmad Taib as lecturers in Political Science.
Ayesha Farooq and Abdul Wahid Khan were recommended for appointment as
lecturers in Sociology and Geography respectively.
Khadija Shabbiri,
Waheed Ahmad Baif and Saba Ibrahim were recommended for appointment as lecturers
in Chemistry. Azhar Ali Zafar, Muhammad Zulfiqar and Hassan Mahmood were
recommended for appointment as lecturers in Mathematics.
Nasreen Akhtar
and Bushra Ramzan were recommended for appointment as lecturers in
Psychology.
The board recommended Mahrukh Nishat, Azhar Iftikhar, Shahzeb
Khan, Muhammad Basit, Noor Khan Niazi and Saima Jabeen were for appointment as
lecturers in English. Sharoon Hanook and Muhammad Kashif Ali Shah were
recommended for appointment as lecturers in Statistics.
Usman Khalid,
Muhammad Atif, Muhammad Altafur Rehman and Sohail Mushtaq were recommended for
appointment as lecturers in Physics.
Memuna Ghafoor, Uzma Hanif, Muhammad
Umar Hayat, Hibatul Momen and Mobina Ulfat were recommended for appointment as
lecturers in Botany.
For recruitment to the post of ( BS-17)
Atif
Yaqub, Nazish Mazhar Ali, Muhammad Imran Sohail and Chand Raza were recommended
