KU important announcements
KARACHI, July 20: The registrar and returning officer, University of
Karachi, Prof Mohammad Rais Alvi, on Thursday announced that polling for the
varsity's Senate election from the constituency of university teachers would be
held on July 31 at Arts Auditorium from 9:30am to 1pm.
Degree classes enrolment
The University of
Karachi announced extension in submission of enrolment forms of BA, BSc and BCom
up to July 28 with a late fee of Rs1,500. The normal enrolment fee is
Rs550.
BDS suppl exams
The KU announced the examination
programme of third professional BDS supplementary examinations 2007.
The
paper of general medicines will be conducted on July 24, general surgery on
26th, oral pathology on 28th and oral medicine on 30th.
These papers will
be held at the Centre of Excellence for Women Studies, University of Karachi,
from 2pm to 4pm.
Diploma
The Directorate of Evening Programme, KU
extended the date for the submission of admission-cum-semester tuition fee for
the Diploma in Investigative Psychology till July 21.
Pharmaceutical lab
A modern, well-equipped
pharmaceutical lab will soon be established at the University of
Karachi.
This was announced by the KU vice-chancellor, Prof Dr Pirzada
Qasim Raza Siddiqui.
He was speaking as chief guest at the reception
hosted at the campus in the honour of the new dean of Pharmacy, University of
