KU trained students win medals
ISLAMABAD, July 29: The contingent of Pakistani students, comprising Anita
Pabani of the Karachi Grammar School, and Shaina Khan of the Lahore Grammar
School, won two bronze medals at the 39th International Chemistry Olympiad at
Moscow.
They had trained at the University of Karachi's HEJ Research Institute
of Chemistry and had participated in the competition under the STEM Careers
Project of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Over 360 students
from 68 countries participated in this international moot. The group was led by
Dr Khalid M Khan and Dr M Shaiq Ali of the KU's research institute. app
