LHC asks for NTS report
LAHORE, July 11: On a petition filed by a student challenging the inclusion
of Mathematics in the admission test for medicine, the Lahore High Court (LHC)
on Tuesday asked for a report by National Testing Services (NTS) to be submitted
today (Wednesday).
Saima Javed, a student of FSC (sciences), complained
that English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology were part of the entry test
earlier, but Math had also been included. She said being a medical student, she
had never been taught Math, and hence it would be unfair to test for the
subject. She hoped that the NTS would reverse the decision. Daily times
