PEF expands funding for private schools
LAHORE, July 17: Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) managing director Dr
Allah Baksh vowed to expand the facility of financial assistance to private
schools, said a press release issued by All Pakistan Private Schools' Welfare

Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) to other districts and an increased number of
schools would be financially assisted during the ongoing financial year.
The
scheme was initially launched in remote districts with very low literacy rate,
he said. APPSWA president Syed Zulqarnain Shah said all registered institutions
could apply for assistance under the FAS. He said that private school owners had
