PU, FJWU to strengthen academic ties
PESHAWAR, July 3(Dawn): University of Peshawar's Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Haroon
Rashid has urged the students to concentrate on research to be able to compete
for jobs. The university's department of journalism and mass communication would
soon establish its own television studios, he said.
Talking to the
vice-chancellor of the Fatima Jinnah Women's University (FJWU), Rawalpindi, Dr
Saeeda Asadullah Khan, who called on him here on Monday, he said there was an
urgent need for collaboration among universities to promote academic activities
on modern lines.
