Teachers' poor performance criticised
SWABI, July 21: The education department should not grant annual
increment and transfer poor performing teachers from the area, according to the
some parents of students who failed in the Secondary School Certificate
examination of the Mardan Board of Intermediate and Secondary
Education.
Criticising the teachers, they said that the result reflected
upon their poor teaching skills and dereliction of duty.
The angry
parents told journalists that failing of such a large number of students
indicated that teachers had failed to impart education to students.
The
result was declared on July 16.
Citing examples, they said that only a
single boy out of a class of 22 had passed in the Government High School Beka
for Boys. They said that it was illogical that none other than that single boy
passed in key subjects. Dawn
