Bolan Medical College students protest
QUETTA, June 6(Daily Times): Police on Tuesday afternoon opened fire on some Bolan
Medical College students protesting against alleged corruption in the college
administration and arrested one student, a student said.
"Police opened
fire on students at Golimar Chwok outside the BMC hostels which injured some
students," Hafiz Sanaullah, a fourth-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
student, informed.
The students had decided to boycott their
classes earlier in the day when the police arrested a final-year student,
Mohammad Sami, and opened fire on the students protesting in the Brewery area.
The students said in a press conference that they had demanded the cancellation
of recent BDS results as massive corruption was done in its preparation.
