Federal Board Islamabad exam issues
Islamabad, June 26(The News): I draw the attention of the authorities of the Federal Board Islamabad as
regards the difficulties faced by the students in the intermediate exam 2007.
The following points/difficulties have been experienced by the students
appearing in the exam.
* Biology-I: The questions were asked in difficult
terminology, were too lengthy and difficult to comprehend and were not prepared
according to the level of the students.
* Chemistry-I: It is not
possible to solve the objective portion within the specified time as it
contained 50 per cent numerical questions. In the subjective portion certain
questions were not included in the syllabus, while long questions were given in
the section of short questions.
* Maths-I: 50 per cent of the objective
part contained short questions. Each question needed 2-3 minutes to be solved.
Either such questions should be eliminated or more time be given.
In the
light of the abovementioned, the candidates appearing in the papers should be
given additional marks.
