GCU former VP hospitalised
Lahore, June 25(Daily Times): Government College University
(GCU) former vice- principal (VP) Prof Javed Ahmed Sheikh was rushed to the
Doctor's Hospital as his liver ruptured, said a press release on
Saturday.
Prof Sheikh served as the Political Science Department head of
the GCU. Later, he was appointed the last GCU vice-principal. He was also the
coordinator of the MPhil leading to PhD programme of the GCU Political Science
Department.
The GCU vice chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Aftab, the deans, the
registrar, teachers and students have shown sympathy with Prof Sheikh and have
prayed for him.
