HEC extends deadline for scholarships
ISLAMABAD, June 2(Daily Times): The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the
deadline for submission of applications for the ADP TEFL Scholarships programme
(2007-08) at the Aga Khan University, Karachi, till June 22.
The
admission test for the subject programme will be held on July 7 at the Aga Khan
University, Karachi, the HEC announced here on Friday.
Meanwhile,
English Language Teaching Reforms (ELTR) Project Development Faculty Coordinator
Ejazur Rehman said the extension would provide a chance to maximise the number
of English language government teachers to participate in the programme. He said
the one year course was fully funded by the HEC to equip English language
teachers of universities, degree awarding institutions and all colleges of the
country with the latest developments in the particular discipline.
