HSC exam centre allocation mess
KARACHI, June 9(Daily Times): Serious violations of
the code for examination centre allocation have been reported during the ongoing
HSC Part-1&11 exams.
Officials from the Board of Intermediate
Education Karachi (BIEK) have declared unregistered institutes as examination
centres. Candidates have complained of having trouble finding the buildings and
the institutes do not fulfil the basic requirements of examination
centres.
The code directs all centres to be in a common and prominent
location. Also, only colleges should be made centres for intermediate
examinations. Several complaints were received proving the violation of
the code.
In Charge Ishaq Mamji was not available for comments despite
repeated attempts.
