Jamiat protests student's death in Karachi
PESHAWAR, June 14(Daily Times): The Islami Jamiat Tulba
(IJT), Peshawar University Campus, staged a demonstration in front of the Peshawar
Press Club on Wednesday to protest the murder of an IJT member in Karachi.
Unidentified people gunned down Wasif Aziz near Malir in Karachi when he
was returning home after attending a Muttahida Tulba Mahaz programme on Tuesday
night.
The IJT university students were holding placards inscribed with
slogans against the Sindh government.

Sahibzada Arshidullah addressed the protestors, and said violence . Arshid said,
"Terrorists with the support of a military dictator are killing innocent
people." He added that the government had given a free hand to terrorists. The
IJT leaders demanded the government sack Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad, as he had
failed to restore peace in Karachi.
