PU delegation leaves for Germany
LAHORE, June 30(Daily Times): A 10-student delegation of the Punjab University (PU), led
by Institute of Social and Cultural Studies director Prof Dr Muhammad Hafeez,
will leave for Germany today (Saturday). PU's acting vice president Prof Dr
Muhammad Arif Butt said to the delegation that they would not only represent PU
in Germany but also act as ambassadors of Pakistan, and therefore must act
responsibly.
The delegation will also attend an international conference in
which students and experts of more than 30 countries will participate. The
delegation will also attend a training workshop. Hafeez said that PU students
would be able to compete on an international level once they participate in this
workshop and they will also make history for PU, as this will be an
unprecedented event for the university.
