3rd anniversary for Punjab University FM 104.6
LAHORE, June 6(Daily Times): Third anniversary of PU FM 104.6 was celebrated at the
Institute of Communication Studies (ICS) of the Punjab University (PU) on
Tuesday. According to a press release, on the second day of the celebrations on
Wednesday, PU vice chancellor Lt Gen (r) Arshad Mahmood will be the chief guest.
He will distribute prizes among winners of various competitions held at the ICS.
The Campus Radio Special Marathon Transmission began with a message by ICS
Director Prof Dr Mughees Uddin Sheikh. He said the PU radio had received UNESCO
award for its outstanding humanitarian services in the October 8 earthquake-hit
areas.
