Recruitment of over 1,250 lecturers soon
KARACHI, June 22(Dawn): The Sindh education department will soon be recruiting
around 1,292 lecturers against the posts lying vacant in various colleges across
the province, it was learnt on Thursday.
For the recruitment of
lecturers, a summary has been sent to Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam
Rahim. Following the approval of the chief minister, advertisements will be
published for lecturers' posts in the province.
According to well-placed
sources in the education department, the recruitment process would be carried
out through the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC). They said that
requisition would be sent to the SPSC soon after the chief minister's
approval.
Funds had also been earmarked for the recruitment process.
Therefore, there would be no financial constraints causing a delay in the
process, they maintained.
